Daniel came over to get some new headshots so I pulled out the new Photo Basics StrobeLites again and used them throughout the shoot. I highly recommend these new lights to anyone getting into studio photography, and it doesn’t hurt to find a subject like Daniel who was fun to work with, had a cool look, and together some really nice images came out of it.

So far these monolights seem to be the perfect combination of features and price point. At around $650 for a three light system, this puts high quality lighting into the hands of almost anyone that can afford a DSLR.
