Never passing up an opportunity to shoot, I had the chance to work with David from Esquire Photography yesterday for Nicole and Mike’s wedding. From a lovely ceremony to a fun filled reception, hanging out with Nicole and Mike last night was a blast. I started off with the guys, which meant I sat watching TV as they barely were ready by the time the limo showed up, from there the day kept getting better and better. It was a perfect fall day other than it being incredibly bright outside. The families were all just awesome to be around. This was a great start to their new life together.

Mark and Rachel Wedding
This past weekend I had the pleasure of shooting Mark and Rachel at the beautiful Kindred Community Church in Anaheim Hills. Although it threatended to rain on us a few times, Mother Nature blessed the day and the awesome lighting she gave us to work with. Mark and Rachel were a blast to work with and we wish them the absolute best as they begin their journey together.
Nick and Kelly Wedding
What a treat I had getting to shoot the wedding for Kelly and Nick! They are a terrific couple and Kelly was so laid back getting ready I couldn’t believe it. This was a tough shoot with a number of technical challenges, namely trying to have a ceremony in almost zero visibility, good thing Kelly let me bring in some lights to brighten up her evening. Leah and Linsey, from The Doubleknot Twins, are the most hard working wedding coordinators I have ever seen! From lighting probably close to 300 candles (200 votives in bags with sand), to topping off the sangria bar, they were incredible. All night, Mike from TurtleBoy Studios keep the tunes rolling. What a great evening of fun and celebration!
Wedding of Andy and Cathy
My friend Jeremy from Lucero Photography calls me last night and asks if I can come help him shoot a small ceremony. Sounded a bit odd that they wanted a second just for the ceremony, turns out there were FIVE photographers there. They wanted some massive coverage and boy did they get it. What a beautiful ceremony it was too. I wish you the best, it was my pleasure to be able to shoot your special day.
Jessica and Matthew Wedding
It was a great day for an 8/8/8 wedding at Rancho Las Lomas in Trabuco. Jessica and Matthew were looking fantastic and the wedding party were absolutely fantastic to work with. The location is just awesome with white tigers, zebras, and other exotic wildlife close enough to touch (if you don’t mind risking loosing body parts). Even though it was scorching hot, the handled it like troopers and had a fantastic time. It absolutely was my pleasure to be asked to shoot them for their special day.
Beth and Scott Wedding
Jeremy Lucero from Lucero Photography called me and needed a photographer to help cover a wedding this weekend. An outdoor wedding in the middle of July at 4pm, sounds like a recipe for disaster. While it was certainly very bright and pretty warm, it wasn’t too bad as a nice breeze would sweep through the the area every once in a while. The Fullerton Aboreturm is very nice this time of year and the lake served as a nice backdrop to the ceremony while the large grass area by the Heritage house was a perfect spot for the reception. What a great couple, it was absolutely my pleasure to be a part of your event. Good luck as you begin this new journey together.
Michelle and Josh Wedding
Michelle and Josh are one of the funnest couples I have ever worked with and it was my personal pleasure to shoot their wedding this past weekend. I have known Michelle for a few years so I was honered when asked to shoot her engagement shots back in November. We had so much fun during the engagement shoot that I knew the wedding was going to be awesome. I was certainly not let down as the vibe from the crowd was awesome, the ceremony was nice and sweet, and the reception was a blast. For this shoot I worked again with my good buddy David from Esquire Photography and the wedding was the The Grand in Long Beach. Congrats to Michelle and Josh and best wishes for your new future together!
Cara & Erics Trash The Dress
What a great weekend! I had a last minute cancellation and David from Esquire Photography said I should hang with him for the day for what he said was a fun couple that wanted to do a trash the session. Down in a secluded cove, Cara and Eric were both super fun, enthusiastic, and daring despite the chilly March waters. I only got wet up to calves so I really could appreciate the extra effort they put in to get “the perfect shots”. David has a few shots from the shoot over on his website as well. Thanks to Cara and Eric for letting me be a part of the day, it was really enjoyable to work with you!
Trash The Dress Shoot – Palm Springs
This past weekend we decided to head out to Palm Spring to participate in a large trash-the-dress event. We got to work with a few very fun couples out there as well as some other really good photographers. We have so many great pictures from the event it’s hard to come up with a few favorites. There are more in the Gallery link at the top of this page.
Wedding of Michael and Briggy
It was my absolute pleasure yesterday to be part of the Esquire Photography crew again while we got all jiggy with Michael and Briggy over at The Pacifc Edge down in Laguna Beach. What a wonderful and delightful couple they are. The ceremony overlooked the water and the final portraits and some after-ceremony beach pictures were simply stunning . I wish them all the best and hope they have a good time on their honeymoon in Hawaii.
