Now Offering Willowbook Sequoia photo albums

I have really been struggling with trying to find the right balance of quality and price for photo albums for my clients and have finally decided to make the WillowBook albums the primary album product that we will be offering clients. The sample album just came in and I am quite impressed with the quality of the images, the binding, and the leather cover. This is a nice quality album at an affordable price point.

Pricing for these does depend on how many pages and images are used but a typical album (10″x10″) with 24 sides and up to 50 images with the leather cover and two lines of imprinting will run $525.00 and the 12″x12″ version will run $650.00. Additional pages can be added at a cost of about $15 per page.

I have been away at the large WPPI conference for Wedding and Portrait photographers and managed to have one of the biggest moments of my photography career to date! Every photographer I know has at least one person that they look up to and would give anything to sit down with for even five minutes. For me, this is was David Ziser.  David is a leading wedding and portrait photographer, a master of lighting, a phenomenal teacher, and an avid blogger. David’s blog is at http://digitalprotalk.com. While at WPPI I was not only thrilled to meet hm in person for a brief moment after his amazing talk about lighting, he then invited me to sit down and “talk shop” which ended up lasting about 90 miutes.  I had a very pleasent time with David and his wife LaDawn.   To add to that, Syl Arena from http://pixsylated.com also dropped in. I can’t wait to see David again in May for his Digital Wakeup Call seminar that is coming here to Irvine.

fonality_spirit.jpgA while back I did a photo shoot for Fonality. These images are now flying high in the skys over the US in Spirit Magazine, the magazine that is available onboard Southwest Airlines. The upper right hand image of the person was from a stock house but the product shots were all done by us.

While it was a pretty basic photo shoot, the client wanted a more “artsy” look to the images so we lit them with pretty harsh light so they had a high contrast look to them. The client was quite pleased and we got asked to do another photo shoot for them tonight.
