Leah and Darrel Wedding
I have been waiting for this wedding for quite a while as I have worked with Leah before as she is a coordinator and one half of The DoubleKnot Twins. For this wedding I shot alongside David Esquire (Esquire Photography) at the beautiful Diamond Bar Center.
What a fantastic day it was even though all week it threatened to dampen the festivities with some rain. Well, it did rain, but only early in the morning and was clear by the time the wedding time came around.
I want to wish Leah and Darrel and the happiness in the world, they are two terrific people who are obviously very much in love and deserve all the best. It was my distinct pleasure to be asked to shoot this wedding for them.

Kerry guests on the Pro Photography Show Podcast
Gavin Seim has a pretty good podcast over at http://www.prophotoshow.net with regular shows and good guests, its a great resource for photographers. This week I was asked to be a guest on Gavin’s show along with David Ziser (link), Dennis Zerwas (link), and Brady Dillsworth (link). It’s always an honor to be asked to be on other people’s shows. If you are an aspiring photographer, go check out the show at http://www.prophotoshow.net.
Kerry guests on Aaron Dieppa’s The Big Picture Part II
In this episode, Kerry and Aaron discuss the current trend of “transparency” and putting yourself “out there” and how this is changing how we communicate with our clients and our peers. This is a very interesting discussion. For more of Aaron’s The Big Picture video blog, go visit http://aarondieppa.com.
Guest on Aaron Dieppa’s The Big Picture
For those of you who haven’t heard about Aaron Dieppa, he is an Orange County photographer who came up with an insane idea to try to do a daily video blog for an entire year. To say that he has taken on quite a challenge is an understatement but he has been doing a great job so far. Be sure and check out The Big Picture at http://www.aarondieppa.com for all the back (and future) espisodes. This week however, I am thrilled that Aaron asked me to be a guest on the show and we talked for quite a while about Camera Dojo and the industry, so much so that he needed to break it up into three shows.
Here is this today’s episiode featuring me as the guest.
Playing with the Holga in Vegas
Once in a while you get inspired to try something new or even something old that you haven’t done in a while. My friend Vu bui (http://vubui.com) recently posted some pics he took with his old Holga camera. I knew I was going to have a pretty cool photo shoot coming up and Vu’s pictures got me thinking about the days of film and the uncertainty of using a camera like a Holga. Inspired and excited to get outside my normal box, I fired off some shots at one of the coolest locations around. Here are some of my favorites.
